After much research I have found a wonderful all around diet to put my mice on to keep them as healthy as possible. This group of foods combined with lab blocks gives them the all around diet that they need. You can also give them veggies and some fruits as treats (stay away from citrus and certain veggies like lettuce, onions, and avocado). But these guys will be fed an amazing diet so that when they're ready to feed to your snakes, you know you are getting top quality feeders from me! Plus, all of this food will last for months and months! I've put one mix together already using not even a cup full from everything on the list, and that's going to last a good long while. And I get to eat some Raisin Bran and kashi cereal too 😉 win/win! The beans that are in the picture are lentils and split peas. The only thing I don't have on my list that I need to add is roasted unshelled unsalted nuts. They didn't have that at the grocery store so I'm going to have to go to the feed store. But for the time being I just mixed in what I had leftover of their seed mix into it to compensate. Why spend $10-20 a bag at the pet store for maybe a month's worth of crappy food that isn't good for them, when it's a third of the cost to do it healthier?
